This Privacy Policy explains how Book For Look ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our apps and website (the "Platform").

1. Information we collect

Account details: your name, phone number and (optionally) email.
Booking information: the services you book, providers, dates and amounts.
Payment information: payment method and transaction records (we do not store full card details).
Device & usage: app/device information and how you use the Platform, to keep it working and secure.
Content you provide: reviews, photos and support messages.

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and bookings.
To process payments, refunds and wallet balances.
To send booking updates and, if you opt in, other notifications.
To provide support, prevent fraud and improve the Platform.

3. Sharing

We share booking details with the provider you book with so they can serve you. We use trusted service providers (e.g. payment gateways, SMS, push and hosting) to operate the Platform. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Notifications

You control push, SMS and email notifications from your notification settings. Some essential messages (like booking confirmations and security notices) are always sent.

5. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account we anonymise your personal data; some records (such as transactions) may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business needs.

6. Your rights

You can view and edit your profile, control notifications, and delete your account from within the app. To request a copy of your data, contact us through Help & Support.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Platform is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be shown here with a new "last updated" date.
